EVERYTHING HAS BEEN DONE I/II, 2003 (excerpts)
DVD, 12'/26', edition of 4
Members of the Azorro super-group meet to come up with an idea for a new art project. As the conversation progresses, however, it turns out that - just as it happens in art - all ideas have already been realized. The film consists of two parts shot in different locations and is meant for exhibiting as a two-channel video screening.
The project is also carried out by Azorro 'live' - hired actors read out the film dialogue list. So far, the performance has been realized in a number of countries and various language versions (eg. Polish, Czech, Hungarian, Slovakian, Pretigal, Japanese, Portugal). 'Everything has been done' also appeared in print as 'A tragedy in 3 acts, without an epilogue' (Pub. Bunkier Sztuki, 2003, Polish and English).
The work was purchased by the Cracow National Museum and the Towarzystwo Zachety Sztuk Pieknych in Lodz.
